Why does this Formstack for Salesforce API update matter?

This release will allow for new use cases within our native app. Have you ever wanted to use Salesforce Field Service Lightning objects

Well, now we will support those objects such as Work Order, Service Request, Service Appointment, and more. Formstack for Salesforce now allows you to solve for more business needs by giving you access to the most up-to-date Salesforce technologies.

What are the benefits of updating to v54.0 API?

Here’s what you can expect to see in our products out of this update. A complete list of the new and changed objects for Salesforce in API v54.0 can be found here.

Improved product stability. This update allows you to safely leverage Salesforce's latest features. You’ll also see improved browser performance as well.

Access to more standard objects. You now have access to standard objects like WorkOrder, ServiceAppointment, and ServiceRequest in the Salesforce Field Service Lightning product. More standard objects means more use cases, which means you can expand your usage of Forms for Salesforce even further.

How do I update my old forms to v54.0 API?

In just a few steps, you can quickly and easily upgrade your forms created before September 6 to the new v54.0 API. Find helpful instructions on how to upgrade your forms to v54.0 API  here. When upgrading, don’t forget to make a duplicate of your form first to avoid any disruptions to your live form.

And remember, Salesforce retires certain objects within their release cycles, so upgrading the API version of your form could cause you to no longer have access to certain objects and fields. The objects retired in the release of API v54.0 can be found here.
